KETUPAT name was derived from the Javanese term “ngaku lepat” consists of four actions, namely lebaran (openness), luberan (abundance), leburan (forgiveness), and laburan (cleanliness) , which means “admitting one’s mistakes.” It also symbolizes forgiveness and blessings.
